Making an impact

With your help we have changed the lives of countless cancer patients in our 10 year history. Over 50,000 treatments have provided a soothing massage, a pain-relieving acupuncture session or a healing yoga session, making the path to wellness for patients faster, easier and more comfortable.

How we work

How do we help cancer patients throughout the USA? We do this by providing grants to hospitals to pay for the therapists and technicians who provide the care to the patients. Hospitals are responsible for the cost of administration of the programs and our administration staff is all volunteer, thereby increasing the impact of your donations. Additionally, the Angie’s Spa Board generously covers the operational expenses of the charity, so that 100% of ALL donations go directly to providing these beneficial and vital services to cancer patients.

Our successes

In our 9 year history, we have raised over $1,000,000 for our mission to increase relief for cancer patients. This means we’ve provided over 50,000 treatments to patients in need. That’s a lot of relief.

Stories of grateful patients

We have changed the lives of hundreds of cancer patients across the country. We would like to tell you about a few of them who were willing to tell their story.

There is more work to be done

Today, almost every single American is affected by cancer in some way and there are approximately 1.6 million new cases of cancer diagnosed in America every year. We can provide proven healing through effective integrative therapy treatments combined with conventional medicine in oncology centers all over the country. But we need to work together—with you—to accomplish our vision of having these treatments available to every cancer patient in America.

“After my Angie’s Spa massage treatments, it was like a weight had been lifted. You don’t realize how badly you need a massage until you get one. I wanted to take a nap; it was so relaxing. From the atmosphere of the MediSpa to the people, to the treatment itself, it’s all very relaxing and welcoming.” -J.H., patient at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD

“I have had six acupuncture treatments and have found a big difference in the pain. I started with pain at 10 in my arms, legs and feet and I now am down to a 2 in arms and feet. Acupuncture has made my life so much better. Hoping to continue with the treatments for the rest of the pain. I have a much better life thanks to the Angie’s Spa grant!” – Mary F, Patient at UMASS HealthAlliance
